It is the goal of the Duncanville ISD Athletics Department to provide the media with comprehensive, hospitable services during athletic events. We appreciate the positive publicity our school and athletes receive because of your work. Acceptance of the media credentials to a Duncanville ISD event constitutes an agreement by the individual to abide by all media expectations of Duncanville ISD. Please complete a separate request for each credential.

PHOTOGRAPHY: The use of electronic flash equipment, other than remote off-camera strobe flash, is prohibited at all indoor events including volleyball and basketball.

Duncanville ISD prohibits the sale of photographs from events and will not credential any photographers whose photos will be used for any purpose other than media coverage.  Duncanville ISD does not issue media credentials to commercial photographers. 

FILMING: Contests may not be filmed in their entirety and footage should be used for highlight purposes only.

Credentials for Game Day Media

All game day requests for working press, photo, and broadcast credentials should be submitted using the form below. Requests should be received no later than 72 hours prior to the start of the game.  Credentials are limited and shall be considered on an individual basis. Photo credentials may not be issued to freelance photographers unless on a specific assignment from an accredited organization.

Credentials may not be provided to “grips” due to on-field space limitations. 

Additionally, the following may not be granted credentials:

Personal page internet site publishers.
Sites that do not produce original content on a routine daily basis.
Recruiting-related organizations that are part of a recruiting site or video productions for individual players. 
Any other internet site deemed in poor taste or not in compliance with the mission of Duncanville ISD. 
Notification of Approval or Denial of Request

Notification of approval or denial of request(s) will be provided via email prior to the requested game. 

Credentials will be issued for a specific area (sideline, press box, etc.).   You must remain outside the coach's box on the sideline during the game. 

We ask that you treat our personnel, who check your credentials, with courtesy and respect for the job they are assigned.  Duncanville ISD reserves the right to revoke credentials for non-compliance with expectations or requests at any time. 

Pressbox seating and field access will be prioritized by the following:

1. Sports editors of daily newspapers, school newspapers, and sports directors of television and radio stations.
2. Daily radio and television shows.
3. Weekly radio and television shows providing sound and/or video highlights.
4. Weekly magazines specifically dedicated to area sports.
5. Other weekly and monthly publications covering either school.
6. Media websites.
7. Photographers affiliated with an official media outlet.

Credential request deadlines for all events will be by noon at least 72 hours prior to the event.
